On December 21st, 2010 we will experience a full moon and total lunar eclipse on the day of the solstice.  Since both eclipses and solstices or equinoxes are profound portals of transformation, that puts us in the position to take advantage of one of the most potent possibilities for shift in our lifetimes.  We live in a time when more of these shift points occur than they ever have, and yet some will still stand out, and the more we make use of these potentials more we will gain from their many supportive gifts.

It is time, without a doubt as the very heavens are demonstrating, for rebirth.

This window of time leading up to and during the solstice and two eclipses,  is one of the best opportunities energetically to access your deepest essence and truest nature, and reinvent yourself from that place.  Of course accessing your deepest essence may require some powerful dredging and cause upheaval inside of you, even turmoil, and pain as it occurs.  But we have had so much practice at this, and at this time perhaps more than any other we have known, this difficulty will bear profound and prolific fruit.  You will find yourself moving through challenges and into shockingly brilliant and beautiful revelation sometimes almost instantly following them.  You are being handed the keys to unlock any chains you may still have been bound in, in any part of you that has been trapped or held back.  You are about to look into the eyes of the very inner freedom you have been seeking.

It is natural to potentially experience both pain and joy in this time, both the desire to hide or to cocoon, and the desire to expand, reach out, or even run.  Trust each of these feelings.  They all have a place in this process.  In fact, it is through the gateway of your feelings and all that they have to tell you, that you will enter most intensely into it.  It is time for you to begin to truly know more of the glory of who you are…and you are glorious indeed.

Nothing will hold it back now.  Your light is going to begin to spill out of you as never before.  You wouldn’t even be able to hide it if you tried.  Any remaining self-shaming, self-doubt, self-criticism, is going to be washed away by upcoming circumstances in your life.  And there will be nothing left but that naked light, and all the joy that rested beneath those fears.  And you will feel it…literally like shackles falling away…

It is time to be in love again…blindly and with fierce faith.  It is time to let yourself fall where you have been holding on and trust that you will be caught.  It doesn’t matter what you fall in love with…painting, a leaf, a poem, a person, a moment…you will ultimately be falling in love with your self…and in this lies the healing of the world.  It is in your heart, and what it craves, what it yearns and wishes for…what it dreams…

So look at this time as the biggest of all new years…more like a new life!  Whether you celebrate the new year at Solstice, or the first day of January, some other date, or not usually at all…this year spend a lot of time reflecting on what you want to let go of…what you are done with…and what you want to create and bring forward in your life.  And as you watch or feel that glowing full pearl moon turn crimson, know that your whatever you wish to release, will go, and whatever you wish to bring forward, will be ushered in with her returning light.  It will be your renewed light too.  Dream on Oracles, dream big, dream deeply…for in your dreams the light returns to the world… And your illuminated hearts, beacons of love, shine through every darkness, and light all the many paths home…
