Eclipse and New Gateways
Wednesday, April 27th, 2005
Great shifts are occurring as we feel the unwinding effects of the recent eclipses. As I have tuned in to the energies the feeling is clear: the solar eclipse this month stirred us deeply within, asking us to consider what we are ready to let go of now. The lunar eclipse just days ago opened the gateways to release those things and to make space for what we have been most asking for in our lives.
This means that it is an excellent time energetically to check in with ourselves and update our dreams and prayers…because this is a time when a little effort will have a huge outcome and when it will be easier than ever to accomplish what we desire to manifest.
Whatever you need to do to reflect on what you want…do it. Go to the garden, or the ocean, talk to a friend, visit a temple, meditate, walk. Get excited again…feel possibility stir renewed.
Tear down old fences and pull the roots out of the things you no longer wish to harvest in your life…because unless your stars are differently aligned, harvest you will.
Knowing that the harvest is coming, you can decide to make it an event of incredible joy and dreams fulfilled, instead of the chore of recognizing once again the fruits of what you know you no longer wish to manifest in your life. The key is excitement…enthusiasm. Getting back to what just “feels good” as guide. The root of enthusiasm is enthos, meaning “god filled.”
Be full and empty and listen to the song of your heart…so you can sing along. None but good fruits come from this.
Warm and Loving Blessings,
Jennifer
Surrender
Tuesday, April 12th, 2005
We surrender or we resist.
We surrender to be born and we surrender to die. We do this in the physical and we do this on many levels at each moment of our lives.
We surrender to breathe. We surrender to breathe in, and we surrender to breathe out.
What has life been asking you to surrender? Choices? Projects? Relationships? Emotions? To surrender is not to sacrifice. To surrender is to give in to the most natural flow, whether or not rationality or fear pull in other directions. And when we have been far from the natural flow for long enough, we can barely tell the difference anymore.
Then? We breathe. As we breathe we loosen the control we have adjusted to. We allow. We think that we create what we want in life by forcing it into the stream of our path. Then one night we wake up in a fever or a cold sweat and realize that we can only make our prayers and then follow the bends in the river opening before us…and trust. Our prayers are sometimes answered in strange ways, but hold something in store for us we could never have imagined.
And when we decide to surrender we imagine our boat will crash through rapids, or drift into oblivion. We forget to close our eyes and let the current take us…to know that the current is infinite wisdom and all we must do is keep our intention and action in line on the great current of life.
What has most been troubling you? Make a space on a small alter and offer it to life to take care of and to show you a road you may not yet have seen. Feel yourself softening into the enveloping love of life. Breathe in. Breathe out.
