All day and all night, those of us who are aware strive for perfection. The sun sets and the moon rises and we know we are surrounded by the perfection of the universe, that it is a symphony without a single wrong note. And yet we are also surrounded by what seems like an unbearable world sometimes, and the unbearable seeming parts of ourselves as well.
We want to always present grace and love. We want to hold truth above all else. We want to give our highest and best at all times. And when we fall short it is only a vigilant beam of self-forgiveness that can free us again.
We wait. We wait to give our gift until everything is “perfect”, not always knowing that the perfection comes from the universe in response to our acts of trust.
With the help of a loving family member I recently created a sound healing CD of toning and chanting. For its creation I had to surrender even more deeply to the will of the universe and of the wonderful beings who wished to sing through me and reach many others with their songs.
I opened myself as I do in a healing session or event, to bring through the most healing energies of these beings in direct transmission to be recorded and offered to the world. It was a birth giving.
The situations that ask the most of us are often the ones that are requesting our surrender to a deeper level of trust. As some very good friends of mine once said to me, “Is there any room for fear in complete trust?”
I remind myself of that question often, and aspire to that level of trust every day. The things that remind us to trust are the little healing gifts that open every door for us. Ask yourself what you have been challenged to trust more in your life, and what unseen perfection may lie therein.
