Dear Friends and New Friends,
I want to share something timeless today. Something both timeless and entirely new and yet-uninvented. It is an invitation to completely redifine yourself and recreate who you think you are, in order to renew anything you would like to in your life. Whether you are reading this message today, tomorrow, or years from now…it applies just the same. You see it applies to the luminous moment…the moment that is always there and is in every instant refreshed. Wherever we may have let dust settle in our lives, it takes only a moment to shake it off.
We live in a world often defined by histories, and we live lives often predestined by histories. We think tomorrow will be much like yesterday and we get used to living with what we have. If this is because what we have is joyful, ecstatic, thriving life then we are living the heaven on earth that models what we hope will reproduce endlessly in this world. However if we are just living the same life we think we somehow must, carrying burdens just to be able to keep on walking the same path, we have other options. We don’t have to wait for the perfect revelation. We don’t have to wait for an angel to take shape and offer her permission. We don’t have to wait until we are at peace with our mothers, or have forgiven everyone we have ever known. We don’t have to wait until we have attained the understanding of why it all happened the way that it did. We don’t have to wait until we have more money or the love of our lives walks in.
We don’t have to wait.
Go to your bed or your favorite chair by the window or at the table. Make sure some light from outside is shining in. Close your eyes and imagine a little box. Open it. Inside is a star. A perfect star. Imagine that this star knows every “mistake” you have ever made, everything you have ever felt that you lacked, and everything you have wished and yearned for in your life. Imagine that instantly the star begins to draw from you all the things that are heavy for you and that you no longer need to identify with or carry. As soon as it has drawn all if it out of you, it begins a flow in the other direction and begins to pour into you pure light and potential until you are completely filled and overflowing with it. Stay with this light as long as you like and remember it through the day. Revisit the star as often as you like to do this.
This pure light and potential is like the blank canvas that everything in creation is painted on. Creation is painted in vibrating, ecstatic light in the richest colors you can imagine. This is what your life is…a blank slate at every moment for you to play on and paint on with vibrating light. This is also how you can constantly create who you are and how you see yourself. You can change your mind about how you want to see yourself at any time. Decide how you wish you wanted to feel about yourself. Think about the characteristics you admire. Then overlay those characteristics over the way you see yourself now (removing the negative things you may think of yourself first) and hold this image for a few seconds. Do this as often as you can. You are a goddess, or a god. You are both. You are exquisitely beautiful and have everything to look forward to. Anything in life and in creation can turn on a dime. Begin to expect miracles.
You can even get or make a real little box for yourself. Write a list of things to let go of and leave it there overnight for your beings, angels, and guides to sort out and lift off of you. Then dispose of that list and put in a list of things you want for your life and leave it there as long as you like. You can put a picture or small figure of a godess, god, angel, or other spirit helper there as well. As I always say, we weren’t meant to do it alone.
You are loved and in this new year you can be anything you would like to be, and have your life shift in any way you would like it to. Begin to play and imagine what you would like it to feel like, and the natural support of life and creation will be by your side and at your back to help make it happen. Love and absolutely unfathomabley miraculous blessings to you as you begin a new start.
