When the Earth Wobbles…

Dear Friends, what a Great time we are standing in. Standing in almost submerged, but still able to witness. Just when we begin to think we know change, it takes a new form that we might never have imagined.

The earth has sent us a song unlike any other, and opened a crack on her ocean floor the size of our entire country. The earth is literally wobbling on her axis, and we enter a new year. Death and rebirth, suffering and celebration of life. All of these things, whether we feel them like huge magnetic waves or hardly at all, are at play within each of us very deeply right now.

The solstice has brought us the promise of light once again, for those of us who live in non-tropical climes, and that alone is a miracle. The sun rose this morning, and set again tonight.

Do you know what happens when we are wobbled…energetically? The things that have been clinging to us by their last reserves fall away. How many times can we be reborn in this one lifetime? As many times as there are fractions of awareness. The question to ask can be how do we best midwive our own births? How do we lean over while in labor with ourselves and help bring forth this new life from what we have been? How do we let our old selves die gracefully, pushed out on long canoes into open seas, by the hand that belongs to the self that steps forward, that is born of this passing.

We know that energy never ceases to exist, it only changes form. Believe again in your dreams. It is never too late or too repetitive. Ask yourself what you would really like to bring into being in this new year, and then be a loving and patient and strong midwife and see it born into your life.

With my loving prayers for you all, dear souls, in this new year and every.

Love, Jennifer
